February 25, 2026 — k&z Demonstrates Real-Time Quantum Error Correction on Production Hardware

ZURICH, Switzerland — k&z today announced the first demonstration of real-time surface code error correction running continuously on its production 72-qubit quantum processors. The milestone, achieved on k&z's Zurich-based QPU cluster, implements a distance-5 surface code across 49 data qubits and 24 syndrome qubits, delivering a logical error rate of 1.2 x 10^-4 per error correction round — a 47x improvement over the underlying physical qubit error rate. The demonstration was conducted under production conditions with live customer workloads on adjacent QPU blocks, validating both the error correction performance and the stability of multi-tenant operations alongside fault-tolerant computation.

January 14, 2026 — k&z Expands to Singapore, Opens Third Quantum Computing Region

SINGAPORE — k&z announced the opening of its Asia-Pacific quantum computing facility in Singapore, bringing two 72-qubit QPU blocks online to serve customers across the region. The Singapore facility is k&z's third operational region, joining Zurich (Switzerland) and US East (Virginia). The expansion was supported by a collaboration with Singapore's National Quantum Computing Hub and provides APAC-resident data processing capabilities for customers with regional data sovereignty requirements. Initial customers include a leading Singaporean financial institution and a Japanese pharmaceutical company.

October 8, 2025 — k&z Initiates SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 Certification Programs

ZURICH, Switzerland — k&z announced that it has engaged Deloitte to conduct a SOC 2 Type II audit and TUV Rheinland for ISO 27001:2022 certification of its Information Security Management System. The SOC 2 audit will examine the design and operating effectiveness of k&z's security, availability, confidentiality, and processing integrity controls. Both certification programs are expected to complete in 2026 and will validate k&z's security posture for customers in regulated industries, government, and defense.

June 3, 2025 — k&z Launches Production Quantum Infrastructure Service with 4 QPU Blocks in Zurich

ZURICH, Switzerland — k&z today launched its commercial quantum computing infrastructure service, bringing four 72-qubit superconducting QPU blocks online at its Zurich facility. The platform provides on-demand access to quantum processors via a REST API and Python SDK, with hybrid quantum-classical workflow support, built-in error mitigation, and enterprise-grade security controls. Launch customers span university research groups, government defense laboratories, and enterprise R&D teams across Europe and North America. The launch follows 18 months of development and private beta testing.

Usage rules:

  • Maintain a clear space around the logo equal to at least the height of the "k" character on all sides.
  • Do not stretch, rotate, recolor, or add effects (shadows, outlines, gradients) to the logo.
  • Do not place the logo on busy backgrounds or images where contrast is insufficient.
  • Minimum size: 24px height for digital, 8mm height for print.
